To me, yoga is connection.
The connection between mind, body and soul. Connection to others. Connection to nature, to the planet, to Mother Earth. Connection to our breath. Connection to our intuition; our inner knowing of how we truly feel, what our minds and bodies need in each present moment. Connection to our desires for what we really want from our one precious life.
This connection is something I believe we’re missing as the world becomes more and more fast paced. Through yoga I hope to provide you with the tools, time and space to enable this reconnection with yourself in a way that continues to benefit you longer after you’ve left the mat.

Having spent time pursuing career paths and lifestyle choices I thought I “should” be doing, there was underlying confusion at a feeling of emptiness and lack of fulfilment that resided in me. Eventually I decided to take a leap of faith and explore the path of what joy looked and felt like to me in the hope of creating more meaning in what I was doing for ‘work’.
In 2023 I completed by NLP practitioner training which gave me the self-belief and confidence to finally book my yoga teacher training. These were the two initial steps of following joy as these were the two practices that had helped me navigate personal challenges and difficulties. I realised I wanted to be able to provide support and guidance to others teaching these methods in the same way that they facilitated my own healing.
In February 2024 I travelled to Goa, India to complete a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training.
Learning the philosophy of yoga anchored my asana practice with the breadth of history and tradition that makes yoga so rich.
I believe that, as ‘teachers’, we are committed to being life long students. Not just from other practitioners of yoga but also from the students I am lucky enough to teach, from my personal practice, and from witnessing the world around me.
I teach yoga to help people find stillness, slowness and simplicity in a world which is becoming increasingly fast paced. Regular asana, pranayama and meditation practice allows us to create the discipline needed to hold steady amidst the near constant bombardment of news, notifications and noise of the world around us that is often outside our control. Through yoga I intend to teach you the tools to peel back the layers of yourself, to return to your centre.
